Carrying on a Village Tradition
The Boar’s Head has been part of Hampton Lucy life since the 17th century, when it first opened as a cider house. Over the years it’s grown and changed along with the village, always serving as a place where people come together to relax and catch up. Hampton Lucy itself has a rich history, shaped by the Lucy family of nearby Charlecote Park, and today remains a close-knit and welcoming community.
Now, with seasoned Landlady and experienced Director Emma at the helm, The Boar’s Head is beginning a new chapter. Our aim is simple - to keep the pub at the heart of village life, offering great food and drink, a friendly atmosphere, and plenty of reasons to come back time and again.

Our Head Chef, Jack, brings a wealth of experience and creativity to the kitchen, with a background that includes cooking for Jamie Oliver’s street food team and at renowned venues like Silverstone, Cheltenham Racecourse, and the Birmingham Hippodrome. His passion for bold flavours and fresh produce runs through our menu - whether it’s a comforting Sunday roast or one of his inventive daily specials.
